Quattro Canti

Quattro Canti are located at the intersection of the two main roads of Palermo, namely Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Via Maqueda. The first order symbolizes the four seasons. On the second order are the statues of the Spanish sovereigns Charles V, Philip II, Philip III and Philip IV. On the third order are instead four holy virgins of Palermo: Santa Cristina, Santa Ninfa, Sant'Oliva and Sant'Agata
